One my friends, Pete, had this idea to start his own business. I know that he only has experience in painting or Residential Deck Staining. The poor guy doesn’t have a job and hasn’t had one for a very long time . Part of his problem is that he doesn’t have a car to get around with. He has the option to take the busses or train system but that doesn’t always work out because he is so broke . The idea of starting a company is really getting him going, he believes that he will succeed and I wish him nothing but the best . Still, the old saying goes that you need money to make money and he has no start-up capital at all. He needs a van or some other big vehicle to carry around all the equipment he needs to also purchase. I’m not even sure that he was very good at painting, and if he knows anything about cleaning a residential deck . If he knew someone in either business, I’d say for him to see if he could get on with him or her and work at a low wage at first and get some experience. He’s desperate to move out of his parents’ house and I can’t blame him on that. I lived at my own parents’ house for too long and would have done anything to move.
